I really enjoyed our very first virtual Apex. While nothing can compare to the comradery and networking that we can do in person, I truly thought the experience was fantastic. The quality of speakers, from our Senior Leaders to our Consultant colleagues from coast-to-coast, to the external speakers and then to end with such a fun and energetic musical act was a great experience! The platform was unique and easy to navigate about. Even though it was all virtual there was no shortage of ideas and best practices shared that we can all incorporate into our businesses. And the value, how can you go wrong! Looking forward to Apex 2021!

The virtual IG Apex Summit 2020 was a great learning experience from the convenience of home. The speaker lineup was great and what a great start with Rona Ambrose. As it was virtual, I had the luxury of checking multiple events at the same time, that would not have been possible in physical attendance. I was extremely satisfied and had enjoyed the two-day event. All the learning from speakers across the continent at such low cost is unbelievable.

I was very impressed with the Apex experience this year. Angie and her team found another way to make the magic happen. The essence of Apex is to not only learn but it is to share ideas and also recalibrate on the future vision and current success of the company itself. The highest impact for me was Jeff Carney’s address, it was personal and heartfelt. That being said, my favorite experience this year was the lineup of guest speakers. I was curious to see how the speakers would be able to energize and interact in a virtual setting and each one of our team members agreed that it was amazing. The guest speakers were diverse enough in topics that each one of us on the team enjoyed a different person…this is a testament to great planning of an event! I found the topics not only valuable but the opportunity to add team members in a cost-effective manner provided tremendous value. The fact that we were able to have an Apex at all in 2020 was fortunate, the details were planned perfectly, and it came to us with the right messaging and timing. Great event!

My most valuable experience from Apex 2020 was listening to Simon Sinek’s unique perspective on how we should engage with prospects and position our UVP while demonstrating our purpose. This has revolutionized our entire HNA NCA on-boarding process to ensure both prospects and existing clients can better understand the value of dealing with our specific team, and what our beliefs and principles stand for relative to the marketplace.

I would like to talk about value for our money spent on Apex. Apex has always been money well spent no matter the destination. 2020’s Virtual Apex was “extreme value!” What an amazing, educational, inspiring and motivating session all enjoyed from the comfort of my own home. Although I love to travel and the current travel climate is unfavourable, the fact that you were able to offer such an outstanding line up of guest speakers and Head Office execs to provide insights, tools and tips in our industry and in working through the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to the entire team that put this session together for us rather than opting to take the easy way and reschedule Apex all together. I am looking forward to April’s event and of course, I am really looking forward to being able to return to a destination in-person Apex conference when possible.
